Dubai Health supplies Rashid Hospital with the latest equipment to improve resuscitation quality

The Dubai Health Authority announced the acquisition of Rashid Hospital for the “Resuscitation Quality Improvement Device”, which is the latest in the world in the field of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, to be among the first three institutions to use this advanced device in the Middle East and North Africa and the first governmental health institution at the state level .

The new device is considered one of the innovative technologies towards automation and innovation in smart medical training, as it provides realistic cases for patients through electronic and smart simulations with the aim of saving more lives of those who suffer serious heart and lung attacks .. While the new device enabled the authority to make smart transformation in CPR programs.

The new device contributes to enhancing the capabilities of health care providers and renewing their CPR skills in a short time not exceeding 15 minutes, which helps service providers to provide high-quality CPR that leads to better results for patients.

His Excellency Humaid Muhammad Al Qutami, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority, upon his perusal of the device, affirmed that the health care system development policy implemented by the authority is based on the distinct human element mainly in addition to modern technologies and smart solutions, which the authority is keen to acquire the best of them globally.

He said that Dubai Health’s acquisition of all the best technologies in the global medical arena aims at providing high-quality medical services, raising the level and rates of patient safety and the safety of medical treatment with them, as well as empowering the medical, supportive and technical staff in the authority from all that is better than Technology, and what helps them develop their skills and invent new methods of treatment.

At the same time, His Excellency noted that the authority has many other goals for which it always seeks to employ technologies, including training and professional development for young doctors, raising their capabilities and level of their scientific, professional and personal competence towards dealing with smart solutions and employing them as required.

For his part, Dr. Fahd Basleib, Executive Director of Rashid Hospital, said that with the opening of the smart training site in Rashid Hospital and the presence of the new resuscitation quality improvement device technology, the hospital can cover the training requirements for CPR programs and then support life for those who are exposed to emergency health conditions that require rapid cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Dr. Wadia Sharif, Director of the Medical Education and Research Department at the Authority, said that the Medical Education Department has begun implementing the smart transformation to a new standard in CPR and life support programs, in agreement with the American Heart Association.

Building and digital twinning, as well as actively contributing to the development, development and application of global open source standards, to enhance integration between building information modeling and geographic information systems, in addition to enabling information sharing and improving work methods and cooperation among all entities whose work is related to the design, construction and management of building and infrastructure assets, In addition to raising awareness about the importance of using unified global standards for building information modeling, by organizing workshops and conferences that attract participants from the UAE, the Arab Gulf states and the region, supervising training programs and issuing internationally accredited certificates, in addition to contributing to translating building information modeling standards into Arabic.
It is worth noting that the UAE ranks third in the world in the ease of obtaining a building permit according to the World Bank indicators, and that the Emirate of Dubai has been a pioneer in encouraging and adopting modern design and implementation methods in the construction sector, by issuing several circulars to all consultants encouraging them to use the digital model.
