- For the perpetrators under the age of 18, it would probably have been four years of closed youth care in Sweden, says Måns Björklund in SVT's Aktuellt.

Another difference is that in Denmark there is a provision where there is an opportunity to double the punishment if you can show that the act is part of a gang conflict. After following the verdict, Måns Björklund sees several interesting things with how the Danish court reasoned.

- Partly the discussion about the punishment. That debate is also ongoing in Sweden, about what penalties young perpetrators should be sentenced to. But also an interesting detail from the judge, that it was reported when a suspect gives his explanation and that it has an impact. The later you come up with your explanation, and the more evidence you get to take part in, the words are not taken as seriously, he says.
