Reducing accumulated traffic fines by 50% in Ras Al Khaimah
The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police announced the launch of an initiative to reduce the accumulated traffic violations committed during the year 2019 and before by 50% with canceling their reservation, provided that they start from the first of next September until the first of next October 2020, except for violations classified under the heading of serious violations .
The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police explained that this initiative comes in implementation of the Ministry of Interior's strategy aimed at imposing the rule of law to control road security, and within the framework of Ras Al Khaimah Police's initiatives aimed at making community members happy in all segments, as this initiative aims to support dealers from the public of drivers and motivate them to comply with laws Traffic and traffic and encouraging them to pay the consequent and accumulated traffic violations that allow them to renew their cars and reduce the financial burdens on their shoulders in light of the negative repercussions that the whole world is witnessing due to the new Corona virus pandemic "Covid 19", where dealers will receive the discount during the payment electronically through an application The Ministry of Interior, while they have to visit the nearest service center in the country for violations that contain traffic points, to be added to the driver’s license, so that he can then pay them electronically.
The initiative excludes the serious violations of driving a vehicle in a way that endangers the life, safety and security of its driver or others, driving a heavy vehicle in a way that endangers the lives, safety and security of its drivers and others, and driving a noisy vehicle in addition to running away from a traffic policeman.
This initiative is considered a continuation of the sustainable and continuous initiative to reduce traffic violations launched by the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police five years ago, specifically in 2015, in order to enhance traffic safety on the roads.
