“Now we have accelerated a little. The car, however, is heavy. Nicely. I think people will be grateful to you for many, many years to come, ”the President shared his impressions of the trip along the highway.

He also believes that tourists will drive along the highway and "remember who and how did it great." He called "Tavrida" a good impetus for the development of the entire peninsula.

The President noted that the road runs from the most important infrastructure projects of the peninsula, from the Crimean bridge to the airport.

Putin added that it is planned to make branches on the highway, since this is necessary for local residents and tourists who come to the southern coast of Crimea.

On August 27, Putin opened traffic on the Tavrida federal highway in Crimea, driving through one of the sections in an Aurus car.

Also, Putin was presented with a kilogram of asphalt concrete covering the Tavrida highway.
