A 24-year-old man of Romanian nationality was indicted for murder and detained overnight from Wednesday to Thursday, after the death of a sexagenarian in the center of Nice, announced the public prosecutor in 20 minutes .
The lifeless and bloody body of the 63-year-old woman was discovered in the night from Monday to Tuesday by firefighters called to a building on Dalpozzo Street, near the Promenade des Anglais, for a release of smoke. The body of the sixty-year-old, an Italian visiting Nice, was lying on a burning mattress.
The suspect, a tenant in the same building, who according to Nice-Matin presented a strange behavior when the police arrived, was quickly arrested.
