The family of Saad al-Jabri, a former Saudi intelligence officer and advisor to the former crown prince, Prince Muhammad bin Nayef, confirmed that the authorities had detained his son-in-law, Salem Al-Muzaini without charge or justification, in the latest form of pressure exerted on the officer who lives in Canada.

Khaled al-Jabri, son of Saad al-Jabri, said that Saudi security forces arrested al-Muzaini on Monday, considering that the arrest was an attempt to humiliate and blackmail his father, as well as an attempt by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to interfere in the course of the American judiciary.

Khaled al-Jabri added that with this arrest, his brother-in-law is joining his two brothers Sara and Omar, who have been detained by the Saudi authorities since last March, holding the Crown Prince and the Saudi authorities responsible for their security and safety.

In the same context, Khaled al-Jabri wrote in his Twitter account that “a person who is confident of his case does not have to blackmail by preventing minors from traveling in 2017 and bargaining with them, then kidnapping and hiding them. He does not have to send an assassination team. There is no justification for this legally, legally or morally.”

He who is confident of his case does not have to blackmail by preventing minors from traveling in 2017 and bargaining with them, then kidnapping and hiding them.

He does not have to send an assassination team.

There is no legal, legal or moral justification for this. 2/3

Khaled added in another tweet that his family shortened the way and took the initiative to go to an impartial court that guarantees the two parties to prove or deny the accusations and take rights by law, calling on bin Salman - without mentioning his name - to respond to the case in court instead of continuing the violations and arresting relatives.

We shortened the road and proceeded to go to a “neutral” court that would ensure that the two parties either prove or deny the accusations and take rights by law.

Whoever is innocent of the assassination attempts and is serious about "fighting corruption", let him respond to the lawsuit and file his case in the same court instead of continuing the violations and arresting relatives. 3/3

Days ago, Saad al-Jabri filed a lawsuit in Washington against Mohammed bin Salman, accusing him of sending a team to assassinate him in Canada, prompting the Washington Federal Court to issue judicial summons against bin Salman and 13 others, to respond to the charges within a maximum period of 21 days.
