For a few days now, a Norwegian citizen has been missing while driving in northern Sweden. He has been feared to be lost, and the police have had some contact by telephone, but the man has not been able to say where he was.

At around 8 pm on Tuesday, the man's car was found by a police helicopter. The car was stuck on a forest road, about 20 km south of Hoting, Strömsund municipality.

Search operation was started

But the man was not at the car. A larger applicant was deployed with the car as a starting point.

At 23 o'clock, the man was found in the forest by a dog patrol. He slept then, and was wet and chilled. When he woke up, he could talk to the rescue squad. He was carried to a passable road, and was taken by ambulance to Östersund, where relatives met up.
