25 billion euros dedicated to SMEs and VSEs

Guaranteed loans, partial activity: SMEs and VSEs have made extensive use of the mechanisms put in place by the State since the spring. Jean Castex confirmed that the upcoming recovery plan will be largely devoted to them. Of the 100 billion euros planned, 25 billion will be dedicated to them.

“  It’s a really good thing. This means that today, it will be up to business leaders to decide how they will conduct their activities. Whether we are going to use telework or not, for example. Because when it is top-down, it is often decided with the bosses of large groups, and we do not have the same needs at all,  ”says Emilie Legoff, head of a software publishing company.

Long-awaited plan details

SMEs are fragile but also agile. Pixminds, a Savoy SME multi-awarded for its innovations in human-machine interface, has not been idle during the confinement. The box has revised its organization for delivering medical equipment to hospitals. When it came out, its teams redoubled their efforts to be able to deliver their latest invention on time.

“  The company came out stronger. We did it. It was not a margin, but it was turnover which also allowed us to have the confidence of our banking partners. They saw that we were not standing still. We were thus able to benefit from the EMP and the other measures put in place which enabled us to pass this first test,  ”explains Cyril Laurent, Marketing Director. The details of the recovery plan that must support companies over time will be unveiled Thursday, September 3.
