The alarm about two men, at least one of whom appeared to be armed, led to a large number of police cars and a police helicopter being sent to Lövgärdesskolan. But the search for men and weapons remained fruitless.

When the person who alerted drove home after work, his car must have been hauled. Three men are then said to have forced him to go over to their car, something Göteborgs-Posten was the first to tell about. The complainant was taken away from the scene and received blows, but was later released.

He then called the police again, and was able to provide such information that a man in his 25s was later arrested and detained, suspected of kidnapping and aggravated assault in court.

Deputy Chief Prosecutor Karl-Erik Espoo tells GP that the incident seems completely independent of the ongoing gang conflict between Backagänget and parts of a family network in Angered.
