Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has described his US counterpart, Mike Pompeo, as outlaws, and that he does not hesitate to violate America's laws.

This came in response to Pompeo's statements at a joint press conference yesterday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding arms sales to the UAE in order to defend itself against Iran.

Zarif added - in a tweet on Twitter - that Pompeo said this while standing by the Prime Minister of the State of (Israel) which is considered the biggest nuclear threat in the world, and that his country intends to send more weapons to the region to flood it with weapons while trying to prevent Iran from defense cooperation The project is with the countries of the world.

The Iranian Foreign Minister considered that the US presence in the region is an illusion, aiming to plunder the wealth of the Gulf states.

He added that his country has exercised a lot of restraint towards crises, and still prefers cooperation with countries in the region.

Zarif stressed that Tehran is convinced of the region's need for a new deal between its countries, and that the continuation of the status quo will end in disaster for everyone.

He was surprised by Abu Dhabi establishing relations with what he described as the largest historical enemy of the Arabs by opening its doors to the Israeli entity.

Zarif said that achieving collective security through cooperation between the countries of the region is not a slogan, and that Iran is ready to implement it in practice.

He attached his tweet to an article from the "New York Times" talking about the US President Donald Trump's administration's violation of arms control laws, by selling weapons and drones to Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
