It was on Saturday 15 August that a man was found dead in an apartment in Katrineholm. A woman in her 65s, who lives in the apartment, was later arrested on reasonable suspicion of murder.
On Tuesday, a new trial was held where the prosecutor demanded remand with a stronger degree of suspicion: on probable cause suspected of murder. But the district court did not share the prosecutor's view and the woman was released.
- I do not want to go into details in the investigation, it continues even if the arrest is upheld. But things have emerged that strengthened the degree of suspicion, says prosecutor Ida Deluna Sjöberg.
