Jamaican authorities said they are investigating the situation at his birthday party a few days ago, reporting the confirmed Corona 19 case of land short-range emperor Usain Bolt.

According to the Associated Press, Jamaican Health Minister Christopher Tufton told reporters on the 24th at the local time, "It is now known that Bolt has tested positive for Corona 19. Bolt has also received a formal notification."

After Jamaican media reported earlier that Vault was infected, Vault said on Instagram that he was "tested and in quarantine" without clarifying whether he was infected.

Secretary Tuffton said he would pursue a contact with Bolt.

Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holnis said police are investigating the situation at Bolt's birthday party on the 21st.

According to Jamaican media, Vault attended a surprise party on his 34th birthday at the time.

On social media, there were also videos of participants dancing without masks at a party held outdoors.

Jamaican footballers such as Raheem Sterling of Manchester City in the English Premier League and Leon Bailey of Leverkusen in German Bundesliga are also known to attend the party.

Prime Minister Holness said, "The police are investigating from all sides. No one is subject to exceptions or special treatment. Every Jamaican has a duty."

Bolt is the'fastest man in the world' who won eight gold medals at the Olympics and holds the world record for men's 100m and 200m athletics.

In Jamaica, a Caribbean country with a population of about 3 million, there have been 1,612 corona19 confirmed cases and 16 deaths.
