The local emergency, crisis and disaster management team in the Emirate of Sharjah and the Sharjah Authority for Special Education decided to learn "remotely" in private schools in the emirate during the first and second weeks of the beginning of the 2020-2021 academic year, starting from Sunday August 30 until Thursday, corresponding to next September 10, With field follow-up to the developments of the situation, to ensure the safety of students and educational staff.
Private schools in the Emirate of Sharjah confirmed to “Emirates Today” that they had received a circular from the Sharjah Private Education Authority regarding the application of “distance” learning in all academic levels in private schools during the first and second weeks of the new academic year.
She explained that she immediately sent text messages to the students' families informing them of the authority’s decision, to put them in the form of the decision and prepare for the application of “distance” learning in all stages, especially for the families of students from kindergarten to the second grade of primary school who were preparing to attend their children for the school day next Sunday.
