This Monday, a young man is still between life and death at the CHU de Pellegrin. This weekend, he was very violently attacked by a motorist on the Somme because he was crossing the street too slowly, reports Sud Ouest.

The facts occurred in the early evening on Saturday. A car turns up in the wrong direction and has to slow down to let a pedestrian, a young man in his twenties, pass. But the latter apparently goes too slowly for the driver who threatens to accelerate before continuing on his way. But a few seconds later, he turns around and violently hits the pedestrian in the face, who collapses to the ground.

The driver and his brother taken into custody

The victim, very seriously injured, is taken care of by the emergency services. His vital prognosis was still engaged on Sunday evening. The motorist was found thanks to witnesses who had noted his license plate. He was taken into police custody as well as his brother present in the vehicle at the time of the facts.
