A major fire broke out this Monday afternoon in the municipalities of Istres, Saint-Miter-les Remparts and Port-de-Bouc, in the Bouches-du-Rhône. According to the latest information from the firefighters, the fire broke out between the ponds of Lavalduc and Citis.
In an hour, the flames have already ravaged 150 hectares. Nearly 700 firefighters are currently mobilized. The situation is not stabilized, tells 20 minutes a spokesperson for the firefighters. A press conference will be given on site around 6 p.m.
