The activities of the Specialized Training Week and the Sixth Arab Gulf Forum for Teachers will start today, under the title "Hybrid Learning". The training targets 37,000 educational field cadres and school leaders from public and private schools that apply the curricula of the Ministry of Education, by default using the Microsoft Teams program and the electronic training platform learning curve.

The specialized training week continues for a week, while the forum, which is part of the specialized training, is limited to Monday and Tuesday.

The Specialized Training Week focuses on the effective teaching and learning process within the hybrid learning environment, with the aim of supporting teachers' capabilities in managing and implementing the teaching and learning process, in an effective manner, by employing appropriate learning strategies and supportive technologies that enable the teacher to achieve students ’learning goals and integrate them into the educational process. .

The Minister of Education, Hussein bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, stressed the importance of the pivotal roles that members of the educational field play in light of the exceptional circumstances of the repercussions of the spread of the "Covid 19" virus, and his confidence in their ability to enrich the educational system with more pioneering educational experiences, which are positively reflected on the quality of the outputs. Al-Hammadi indicated that the Ministry is working to modernize its educational patterns, especially in light of the current circumstances, placing the safety of students and educational staff at the top of its priorities, pointing to the application of the hybrid learning style in its educational system, to achieve the highest standards of safety and security for the components of the educational process.

For her part, Minister of State for Public Education Affairs, Jamila bint Salem Al Muhairi, said that the themes of the forum and specialized training for this year enhance the capabilities of educational field cadres in the fields of hybrid learning, in response to the current stage conditions that imposed unconventional patterns of education, due to the outbreak of the 'Covid-19' virus. »And the associated challenges.

The first workshop in specialized training offers an introduction to hybrid learning, and aims to introduce the concept, principles and models of applying hybrid learning, which aims to enable teachers to provide a compact and safe learning environment for students in their schools, by providing them with tools that enable teachers to apply hybrid learning models in an environment.
