The case of encroachment on the life of security officials opened after CTO in Ingushetia

"In the Republic of Ingushetia, a criminal case has been opened on the fact of encroachment on the life of law enforcement officers in the Troitskoye rural settlement of the Sunzhensky District," the statement said.

According to the investigation, on 23 August at about 8:00 in a private household in Troitskoye, three unidentified men committed "an encroachment on the life of officers of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Ingushetia, who carried out special measures at the indicated address to identify and detain members of illegal armed groups."

At the same time, these persons used firearms and improvised explosive devices.

Earlier, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) reported that during the CTO in Ingushetia, three militants of the "Islamic State" * were neutralized.

During the operation in the settlement of Troitskoye, a counter-terrorist operation regime was introduced.
