The surge in infections in Italy continues. The growth of the epidemic curve does not stop. For the first time since May 12, one thousand cases have returned to overcoming in a single day: 1,071 today, against 947 yesterday. The total thus rises to 258,136. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health. 

The most infections recorded are Lazio (215, an all-time record), Lombardy (185) and Veneto (160). Only the Aosta Valley records zero new cases. On the other hand, deaths are falling, today 3 (compared to 9 yesterday), reported by Veneto (2) and Piedmont (1).

The total number of victims rises to 35,430. 243 healed in 24 hours (yesterday 274), for a total of 205,203. Another strong leap in the number of people currently positive, 825 more (yesterday 664), and are now 17,503.

Faced with the numbers returned to four digits, it still "holds" the trench of admissions: those in the ordinary regime increase by 5 units (924 in all), while intensive care after days of growth are now 5 fewer, 64 in total. There are 16,515 patients in home isolation. Finally, an important number of swabs performed: 77,674 (yesterday 71,996). 

Lazio
Record of new cases since the beginning of the epidemic in Lazio. Today there are 215 (with zero deaths), of which 61% are return links. The previous record was 208, even recorded on March 28. "Today is a record of positives - underlines the regional councilor for health Alessio D'Amato - never so many, mainly linked to cases with links from Sardinia 45% (97 cases). They are mainly young and asymptomatic. In this phase the theme is to promptly block the chains of transmission by tracing the asymptomatic to prevent the spread of the virus in the family ". Hospitalizations in Lazio increase by 17. Now there are 265 people hospitalized. Intensive care, on the other hand, has stopped at 6 for several days. There are 1,599 people in home isolation, and the current positive cases are 1,870. The number of deaths remained unchanged, 873, while those of the recovered rose to 7,020. The total number of cases is 9,763.

Lombardy
No deaths from Coronavirus and 185 new cases out of 12,957 swabs carried out in Lombardy in the last 24 hours. The number of admissions to intensive care (-3) and non-intensive care (-1) is down. 103 are healed and discharged. Among the provinces, Milan has the highest number of cases with 71 new positives, 48 ​​of which in the city. Followed by Pavia (38), Brescia (28) and Monza and Brianza (12). All the other provinces are under ten cases, zero infections only in Bergamo.
