The total confirmed cases of the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) in the world reached 22 million and 954 thousand and 220 cases, yesterday, according to data from Johns Hopkins University and Bloomberg News.
While the virus has killed more than 800,000 people in the world, a record jump in the number of new cases of "Corona" in India pushed the total to close to the barrier of three million infections.
In detail, Corona injuries approached 23 million people in the world, with the total confirmed cases reaching 22 million and 954 thousand and 220 cases.

In total, 800 thousand and four deaths were recorded in the world out of 23 and 3079 declared injuries. It is followed by Asia (8501), Canada and the United States (6964), Europe (2550), Africa (2227), the Middle East (2188), and Oceania (99).
In total, Latin America follows in terms of the number of deaths in Europe, as it counted 212,533 deaths out of three million and 681 thousand and 448 injuries, then Canada and the United States (184,516 deaths out of 5749093 injuries), Asia (86,288 deaths out of 4410622 injuries) and the East Al-Awsat (33,930 deaths out of 1389619 injuries).
Africa is still with 27 thousand and 319 deaths recorded out of a million and 169 thousand and 204 officially declared injuries, the least affected continent after Oceania (521 deaths and 27,133 injuries). The United States is the country with the highest number of deaths in the last week (6927), followed by Brazil (6835), India (6809), Mexico (3702) and Colombia (2076).
The number of confirmed cases of the Corona virus in Brazil reached 3.53 million, yesterday, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University and Bloomberg News.
The data indicated that the number of deaths in Brazil as a result of the virus reached 113,358.
The rate of development of the number of deaths decreased during this period in Mexico (-19%), Colombia (-7%), the United States (-5%) and Brazil (-2%), while it increased in India (+ 5%).
