There is strong support among Swedes for those who believe that mouth protection prevents the spread of infection. It shows a new survey from Novus.

When Novus asked 1,002 people how likely they think mouth protection in public places is to prevent infection, 43% answered that it is quite or very likely. 27 percent answered that it was not likely.

-Actually, you think that mouth protection works, but you do not want it unless everyone else has it. A bit of a one-size-fits-all factor, says Torbjörn Sjöström, CEO of Novus.
