"This painting did not happen there by chance"

"When you come home and you see this grandeur there you say to yourself: 'wahouh!'", Continues Christophe. "I was in awe of it. It surprised me enormously", he breathes, judging that "this painting did not happen there by chance".

Because the canvas is imposing: two meters high by 1.20 m. It would represent Saint Mary Magdalene ... Who deposited it there? "It's a mystery", answers the microphone of Europe 1 the mayor of the village, Marylin Brossat.

"I hope it is a benevolent gift"

"You understand that for us it is a little boring, because we don't know if it is really intended for us, we do not know if it is a stolen object which would have been deposited there .. Ideally, I hope it is a benevolent gift, which we would gladly accept! ", Confides the city councilor.

But so far no donor, even anonymous, has come forward and no one has declared the theft of the painting, the value of which has not yet been estimated. While waiting for the key to the enigma, the town hall plans to put him away, for fear that he will attract envy.
