The number of detected cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine over the past day increased by 2106. This is reported on the website of the monitoring system for the spread of coronavirus of the apparatus of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of the country.
As of August 21, 100 643 cases of COVID-19 were detected in the country, 2207 people died from infection, 51 078 recovered.
Earlier, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky said during a conference call that Ukraine is ready for the second wave of coronavirus infection.
