According to him, Russia and Belarus may have economic disputes, but "this is normal for partners."

“We are, after all, an independent state, and no one questions our sovereignty or independence as a state,” BelTA quotes him.

Golovchenko stressed that "these issues are not even discussed" by the leadership of the two countries.

He also said that it is important for Belarus to keep the Russian market as a priority one. 

“We, of course, do not put all our eggs in one basket and do not place our bets only on the Russian market,” he said.

Golovchenko added that Belarus has begun to actively cooperate with China, and the EU market is also important for the country.

Earlier, the heads of the governments of Belarus and Russia phoned for the second time in two days.
