It was at 10 o'clock that the police were alerted to Librobäck in northwestern Uppsala, where a man fled from his home after two men unknown to him entered.

- They penetrate in violent forms, but the man manages to get out on the street and call for help, says police spokesman Jonas Eronen.

The getaway car recovered

Several police cars are called to the scene and after a while, the suspected robbers' getaway car is found nearby - but no suspect has yet been arrested.

- We will do a house search in the getaway car and examine the man's home to secure any traces, plus that some interrogations will be held, says Jonas Eronen.

What was stolen from the man's home is still unknown.
