Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a call via the "Zoom" app with members of the Jewish community in the Emirates, expressing his hope that he would visit them this year "very soon."

Netanyahu described the normalization agreement with the UAE - which was announced a week ago - as the beginning of a historic era for peace in the region, based on the principle of peace for peace.

He said that the peace achieved between Israel and the UAE will pave the way for the expansion of peace between Israel and the Arab world, referring to normalization agreements with other Arab countries.

This statement comes at a time when Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv announced their intention to establish comprehensive normalization, which does not exclude security cooperation.

A community of several dozen Jews lives in the UAE, and the Emirati authorities have allowed them to set up their own synagogue, and they have also allowed the activation of a service to provide them with halal food (cashier) in accordance with Jewish law.

A few days from now, the head of the Jewish community in the Emirates, Soli Wolf said that the Jews there will be happy to receive the Israelis who are expected to visit the country soon, noting that the number of the Jewish community in the Emirates reaches 1,500 people, some of whom are with their families, including bankers, lawyers and employees in American and British financial companies.
