A large number of social media users in Sudan have expressed their categorical rejection of normalization with Israel, welcoming the decision to dismiss Sudanese Foreign Ministry spokesman Haidar Badawi after his controversial statements on Tuesday.

Badawi had said in statements that contacts are ongoing between Sudan and Israel in order to normalize relations, and he praised the recent agreement announced between the UAE and Israel, describing it as a "courageous and bold step."

Sudanese activists welcomed the decision to dismiss the Sudanese Foreign Ministry spokesman, demanding that he be summoned and investigated regarding his statements in which he overlooked all official institutions, as it was later revealed, according to the statement of the Foreign Minister in charge, Omar Qamar al-Din.

Sudanese Twitter users considered normalization with Israel a betrayal of the Palestinians and their struggle for freedom and an end to the occupation, and stated that normalization with Israel will not contribute to solving the economic crisis in Sudan, as some expect.

Activists re-published a video clip of ousted President Omar Al-Bashir explaining his categorical rejection of normalization with Israel, despite all the pressures and temptations, as mentioned.

Al-Bashir was the only man in the region who says no in the face of the advocates of normalization, and why not, for he is Ibn Khartoum # The Three No, the man and his country paid the price for that by toppling him from power and on their way now to overthrowing the homeland in order to kneel on him and then throw normalization to him as a lifeline. # Sudan_Against normalizationpic.twitter.com/LcRNmWDrgw

They also re-published a picture of the participation of Minister of Information in the current government, Faisal Muhammad Saleh, before the revolution, in a lecture by the National Umma Party on normalization, in which he refused normalization with Israel, according to what they mentioned.

The conflicting statements between the Foreign Ministry and its spokesperson come in the context of throwing a test balloon to know the pulse of the Sudanese street, and they must be heard strongly that # Sudan is against normalization.

Whoever thinks that normalization with the occupying Zionist entity, will address the economic situation and solve all our problems, look at the state of South Sudan, what it has benefited from normalization! Sudan against normalization

Sudan_Against normalization so that far and near can hear it.
I did not go out against Al-Bashir for love in the Zionists, but rather for love and honor for my country,
and I see nothing in their friendship except for all humiliation # Palestine_in_heart

We still do not, as Sudanese, recognize the brutal occupying Zionist entity, an imperialist colonial state that will only increase Sudan tyranny and oppression, and the Palestinian issue will remain the issue of Muslims, but rather the issue of every free person who rejects tyranny and calls for freedom, dignity and justice # Sudan_Audw6 https://t.co/getO4AUDw6

Marketing normalization that the economic solution to the problem illustrates the crisis of conscience in which we live 'everything is salable and brokerage , as long as the price rewardingly'
and neglects the real description of the conflict is the existence of a conflict and no limits for those reading the history well

Q: Ok, your happiness. If our nature and our economic situation would not be correct, what should we do? # Sudan_Against normalization

Good morning
normalization betrayed.

The issue of normalization. This is what a transitional government’s decision, and if the government really did have its civilian and military components, it would have been better to say that we have no right to make a decision of the size because we are a transitional government.

Although I am convinced that the official spoken word is the same as the opinion of the government and its Sovereignty Council.

But the dismissal was appropriate because it was justification for what was in the locality where he commented (it was a comment on the premise that he was a Sudanese citizen that enabled Revolution to comment freely) and forgot that he is a diplomat and his comments are calculated on the state. https://t.co/rDFuLjjfB0

He should be held legally accountable, dismissal is never enough !!! https://t.co/MclfgZvZyO

Confirming an opinion Whatever happens, Israel is an occupied, immoral and murderous entity.
Our current government is very stupid in that they expect normalization to have benefits for Sudan,
and it has no principles.
I mean, neither understanding nor morals.

Perhaps the Sudanese need to normalize their relations more than they need normalization with Israel. # Sudan
