In Sweden, there are no requirements from authorities that we should use mouth guards to reduce the spread of covid-19. On the contrary, the Swedish Public Health Agency has on several occasions not advocated the use of mouth guards due to a lack of support in research.
But as more and more countries have recently introduced requirements for mouth protection in certain environments, voices for mouth protection have also been raised in the Swedish debate.
