The Europe Ecology-The Greens party meets in Pantin, near Paris, from Thursday 20 to Saturday 22 August for its Summer Days. The environmentalist formation wants to take advantage of its victories in the last municipal elections to project itself towards the presidential election of 2022. But everyone is not on the same line. Several figures are already opposed from a distance on the strategy to be followed. The return of the Greens is also shaken by the fear of the coronavirus.

They planned to accommodate 3,000 people at the Cité Fleurie de Pantin, in Seine-Saint-Denis, north of Paris. But faced with health risks and the threat of the rebound of the Covid-19 epidemic, environmentalists have had to revise their ambitions downwards. Only 500 people will be able to visit the site. Lectures and workshops will be webcast live. But between the limits of hydroalcoholic gel and behind the masks, the "ecologists" still intend to surf on their successes in the municipal elections .

The summer days of the ecologists live from tomorrow evening 6 p.m. and for the opening plenary at 7 p.m. @Journeesdete @GEcologie @Alliance_ecolo @GenerationsMvt @MdpMouvement @ Cap21_LRC

Jadot-Piolle remote duel

Michèle Rubirola, Grégory Doucet, Pierre Hurmix and Anne Vignot, respectively elected new mayors of Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux and Besançon, will be honored this Thursday, August 20 for the opening of the Summer Days. A showcase for the staff of Europe Ecology the Greens, and also a springboard towards the presidential election of 2022. But the old demons may be back.

The poison of divisions threatens with the distant duel between Yannick Jadot and Eric Piolle. When the first, MEP, wants to go now and solo towards the presidential election, the second, mayor of Grenoble, first intends to create alliances with the rest of the left. Eric Piolle will also treat himself to a media happening on Friday August 21: he will appear alongside the leader of rebellious France, Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
