They ended up calling for help. A family with three children, aged 10, 12 and 15, found itself completely stranded on Tuesday in the Gorges du Verdon, at the Col de l'Illoire. She had neither water nor food.

Faced with a very difficult area to access by land, parents and their children were hoisted by the firefighters, reports Var-Matin. They were brought back to their campsite unharmed and above all very relieved by this wonderful fear.

The emergency services would like to remind you of the safety instructions and call on walkers to be careful.
