On August 2, a twelve-year-old girl was shot dead with several shots in Botkyrka. According to information to SVT Nyheter, the shots were aimed at the perpetrators' rivals, but hit the girl by mistake.

Now the girl's friends are talking about the grief.

- I still can not get it into my brain that she is the one who passed away, her friend Valentina tells Lilla Aktuellt.

- There was no one who lined up as much as her. She was always there, says Lilly.

Shooting everyday

Friends of the shot 12-year-old say that shooting is now commonplace in the area. And that it is not uncommon to see people carrying guns in the area.

- You will not be surprised if you hear gunfire… it happens so often. Almost every night when I go to sleep, I hear gunshots, for example from Albyskogen, says her friend Cazandra.

Police in the area testify to an increasingly tense situation between the criminal gangs. In addition, it is becoming increasingly common for automatic weapons to be used in criminal settlements, which increases the risk of the public being affected.

In the case in Norsborg where the 12-year-old girl was shot to death, a large number of shots were fired.

"Afraid to let the kids out"

Residents in the area interviewed by SVT Nyheter have also testified to a situation where violence and crime have escalated and where more and more people are now considering moving.

- It feels like the authorities have given up, it has become a ghetto here. Every day we hear about such things, one death here and one death there. Its sad. We have started looking for a new place to live. It is unsafe here, we have small children and are afraid to let them out on the farm. Something new happens every day, said a man SVT spoke to a few days after the murder of the 12-year-old.

No arrests

No one has yet been arrested for the act, but a few days after the murder, the police probably found the white car that the perpetrators used in the fatal shooting. The car, which was abandoned in Sollentuna, was partially burnt down.
