It is noted that the ministers discussed the latest events in Belarus in the development of a telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

“The Russian side emphasized the inadmissibility of any external interference in internal political processes, attracted the attention of Germany, as the presidency of the European Union, to attempts from outside to destabilize the situation in this fraternal country for Russia,” the ministry said.

Earlier, Putin discussed the situation in Belarus during two telephone conversations with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron.

The Russian leader declared that any attempts to interfere in the affairs of Belarus were unacceptable.
