When the alarm reached the rescue service, there were open flames inside an apartment on Norrskensgatan. Once in place, smoke divers went in, and it then burned in a larger closet, reports Niklas Hammarlund, internal officer at Gästrike Räddningstjänst.
The smoke divers quickly found the person who was in the apartment when the fire broke out, and began lifesaving. The person is taken care of by ambulance.
At 21.15 the fire is extinguished, and the rescue service is left for another half hour to ventilate and more.
