A man in his 50s has been found with stab wounds or cuts to the body in a home in Edsbruk in Västervik municipality. Shortly before half past nine, the police and ambulance were alerted to the scene and the man was taken to hospital.
It is unclear how seriously injured the man is.
- We managed to arrest two men near the crime scene, says Rickard Lundqvist, press spokesperson at the police in the South region.
The incident is classified as attempted murder and the police have now cordoned off the place which will undergo a technical investigation.
