The CEC noted that it was possible to get acquainted with the voting results for each polling station, which the opposition calls for, disagreeing with the results of the presidential elections, at the polling stations themselves.

“Thus, the electoral legislation does not provide for any other procedure for familiarization with the voting results at the precinct. The Central Commission has only the protocols of the regional and Minsk city commissions for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus, ”the CEC quoted TASS as saying.

Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke to the workers of the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant on the morning of August 17. The head of state said that he would not hold new presidential elections, despite the protest actions that had been going on for a week.
