It is noted that the exercises will be held in accordance with the combat training plan from 18 to 21 August under the leadership of the head of the Main Directorate of the Military Police of the Russian Ministry of Defense Colonel-General Sergei Kuralenko throughout the country.

The department said that the servicemen of the Central Military District will act as intermediaries - to observe the actions of the trainees and evaluate their skills.

It is planned that the maneuvers will be held in two stages, during which they will check the readiness of the military police to perform the tasks as intended, and also test the capabilities of modern weapons and military equipment that have entered the military police units this year.

In total, more than 2.5 thousand servicemen and about 500 units of automotive equipment will participate in the exercises.

Earlier, the RIA56 portal reported that anti-terrorist exercises were held at the Orenburg airport, in which officers of law enforcement agencies, special services and other specialized departments took part.
