According to the report, the elementary and junior high schools in Utsunomiya City, Saitama City, Nagoya City, and Takasago City in Hyogo Prefecture that started classes on the same day after the summer vacation. At Yokohama Municipal Shioda Elementary School, children wearing masks arrived at the school one after another from around 8 a.m., greeted the teacher at the school gate and went to the school building.
