The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced that it had conducted 71,322 new examinations during the past 24 hours, on various groups in society, using the best and latest medical examination techniques, in line with its plan to expand and increase the scope of examinations in the country, with the aim of early detection and counting cases infected with the Coronavirus Newcomers (Covid-19), those in contact with them and their isolation.

The intensification of investigation and examination procedures, and the expansion of the scope of examinations at the state level, contributed to the detection of 229 new cases of the emerging corona virus of different nationalities, all of which are stable and subject to the necessary health care, thus the total number of registered cases reaches 64,541 cases.

The Ministry also announced the recovery of 100 new cases of people infected with the emerging corona virus (Covid-19), and their full recovery from the symptoms of the disease, after receiving the necessary health care since entering the hospital, thus bringing the total of recovery cases to 57,794. And the Ministry of Health and Prevention announced that no death had been recorded during the past 24 hours.

In addition, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, represented by the Medical District in Fujairah, opened a center for examining the new Corona virus, in the Murbah area of ​​Fujairah, to conduct free tests for Coronavirus for all citizens and residents, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, His Highness was keen on the safety of community members and reassurance of their health, as part of the measures and measures taken by the state to limit the spread of the virus.

The opening of the center in Mirbah, in coordination with the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in the Emirate of Fujairah, and in cooperation with the Fujairah Police General Command.

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection, in cooperation with the Fujairah government, is working to provide free testing centers for the Coronavirus, and to provide them with the latest equipment, technologies, and medical, nursing and administrative personnel from the "SEHA" company, to fulfill its duty to serve community members, citizens and residents, in all parts of the emirate, according to Specific locations and timelines for the field survey program.

"Health" strengthens telemedicine services

The Ministry of Health and Prevention has strengthened telemedicine services and health monitoring through the Virtual Doctor platform, to provide innovative technological solutions and services in the field of digital health promotion, by providing specialized care and medical consultations to patients remotely, at any time. The medical staff of the platform works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the aim of improving and facilitating communication with community members, and raising awareness of the behavior of the best preventive practices followed globally to prevent infection.

The virtual doctor platform was launched, within the telemedicine services, with the beginning of the "Covid-19" pandemic in the country, as it includes a highly trained and qualified medical staff to interact interactively with community members about inquiries related to the Corona virus.

The crew is also distinguished by its multilingualism, the most important of which are: Arabic, English, Chinese, German, French, Indonesian and Russian, in addition to the various Indian languages. While the telemedicine service is provided through the virtual platform, citizen postgraduate doctors residing in Canada and New Zealand, as the virtual doctor team received more than 97,000 calls about "Covid-19" nationwide.
