Yara (4 years) was sitting in the living room of her home in the Karantina area near Beirut port, which is among the most affected by the massive explosion, playing with the phone when the explosion went off and debris fell on her, and she found herself covered in blood.

The father told the Lebanese newspaper, An-Nahar, "We waited hours in the emergency until the doctor came and quickly stitched her face, which forced me to communicate with my relatives in Germany who brought me to a Lebanese plastic wise who donated plastic surgery to my daughter, where I took her to his hospital and one of the doctors performed the operation for her." ".

As for the innocent child, she told the newspaper, "I am good, but Ji Wawa (hurts me)," and about what she is asking for, she replied, "I want (I want) a game."

Walid indicates that his daughter "saw her face in the mirror without realizing what had happened and distorting her beauty. Today, she is in a difficult health situation. She is afraid of a repeat of the matter, and I am afraid for her after I almost lose her, especially since the doctors have assured me that the wound on her face is caused by A piece of iron, resulting in minor burns that left their marks. " He concluded, "After what happened, I hope God will write me emigration from Lebanon, because it is no longer a country."

Tweeters launched the name of the injured girl, using the hashtag # Yara_Said, and shared her photos.

For her part, the Lebanese artist Maya Diab launched a humanitarian initiative that takes care of the restoration of the faces of children affected by the port explosion, the first of whom is Yara.

Tweeters issued a call to help children recover from the health, physical and psychological effects of the disaster as well, blaming officials and the government for everyone who suffers from neglect.
