The Emirates Lawyers list the merits of the “peace agreement” between the UAE and Israel

The Board of Directors of the Emirates Association of Lawyers and Jurists announced its full support for the historic agreement of the United Arab Emirates with Israel and the initiation of full bilateral relations between the two countries and the work to promote peace in the Middle East region, in light of the state's policy to establish the rules of tolerance and strengthen international peace and security within the framework of Efforts aimed at reviving the peace process between the Palestinian and Israeli sides, stressing that this agreement opens the door wide for great potentials in the region, economic, political and cultural.

The Council also praised the agreement’s inclusion of various sectors between the two countries, such as investment, tourism, security, communications, technology, energy, health care, technology, environment, and others, which would lead to good results for the two countries and the advancement of the region by stimulating economic growth, enhancing technological innovation and strengthening relations between peoples.

He stated that the agreement seeks to commit to promoting stability through diplomatic participation, increasing economic integration and security coordination, and will lead to a better life for the peoples of the two countries and the region, while continuing efforts to a just, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The Council also praised the sophistication of the agreement on the Emirati side to obtain large gains that transcend the private dimension, by stopping the plan of annexing the Palestinian territories and permitting Muslims and Arabs to visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque and pray in it and the rest of the holy places, which is in the public interest and the Palestinian merchant’s interest is directly from the revival of Arab and foreign tourism. The UAE affirms its firm commitment to the Arab Peace Initiative and the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
