“On the fact of the accident, the investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation“ Mtsenskiy ”initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 5 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of Russia "Violation of the rules of the road and the operation of vehicles, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence," the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia said on VKontakte.
According to preliminary data, the driver of Toyota Corolla lost control and collided with Renault Symbol, and then Mazda.
At the scene of the accident, the drivers of Toyota Corolla and Renault Symbol were killed, as well as three passengers. Another Renault Symbol passenger was taken to the hospital. The driver and passengers of Mazda were assisted on the spot.
Earlier it was reported that in the Oryol region five people died as a result of a collision of Renault Symbol, Mazda and Toyota Corolla cars.
