Abdullah bin Zayed and the Israeli Foreign Minister open lines of communication between the two countries
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel Gabi Ashkenazi, inaugurated the lines of communication between the two countries.
His Highness held a phone call with the Israeli Foreign Minister, during which they exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the agreement that was announced last Thursday regarding the initiation of full bilateral relations between the UAE and Israel.
During the call, they affirmed their commitment to fulfilling the provisions of the peace treaty between the two countries in order to advance peace and regional development.
The Director of Strategic Communications at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hind Maneh Al-Otaiba, said on her official account on the social networking site “Twitter” that His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and his Israeli counterpart Gabi Ashkenazi, had launched the lines of communication between the UAE and the State of Israel. .
She added that the foreign ministers of the two countries exchanged congratulations and stressed the commitment to fulfilling the terms of the peace treaty between the two countries, in order to advance peace and regional development.
