The first of the next academic year, subject to prior coordination with the school.

The committee also adopted, while stressing the need to implement strict health and preventive standards, a new compliance policy that is applied in all private schools in the emirate, and the compliance policy requires the school to obtain a letter of no objection from the Department of Education and Knowledge before its reopening.

The Department of Education and Knowledge had approved five main models for receiving students, including policies and guidelines according to the school’s absorptive capacity, as follows: Regular full-time attendance: Daily attendance of students to school will require regular part-time attendance: Students will come daily to school but for half of the school day. , Alternation by days: students will receive direct face-to-face education in school on alternating days (two days per week), rotation by weeks: students will receive direct face-to-face education for two weeks, tele-education for two weeks each month, and hybrid education: students will receive direct face-to-face education In school for two days in one week, three days the following week, and distance education on the days they are at home.

Students of the preparatory stage and up to the fifth grade / sixth year will be received in the classes from the first day of the school year, provided that the attendance of students of other academic levels shall be four weeks after the start of the school year. This allows schools to monitor and evaluate students' acclimatization and response to the established procedures, and accordingly plan for the enrollment of the rest of the students.

Starting next week, the department's compliance team will conduct field visits to 205 private schools, to determine their actual readiness to reopen their doors and receive students on the study seats, to issue immediate approvals to reopen schools at the beginning of the next semester.

With the beginning of the reopening of schools, the Education and Knowledge Department, in coordination with the schools, will work to conduct "Covid-19" checks for members of the educational and administrative staff and all students over 12 years old.

The department's compliance team will continue to conduct regular field visits to all private schools to assess the risks of their operations.
