Currently, the memorial hall contains three basic displays: the historical facts of the Nanjing Massacre by the Japanese invaders, the "Three Must-Victories" theme exhibition, and the "Sex Slaves in World War II-The Japanese Army's "Comfort Women" System and Crimes Exhibition". A total of nearly 4,000 photos, 9,992 pieces of various cultural relics, and 262 video materials were exhibited.
There are three "mass graves" sites of the Nanjing Massacre in the memorial hall, displaying the remains of compatriots who died in 1984, 1998-1999, and 2006.
In December 2015, after the completion of the "Three Must Win" new exhibition hall and its branch exhibition hall at the former site of the Comfort Institute in Liji Lane, Nanjing, the memorial hall covers a total area of 103,000 square meters, a building area of 57,000 square meters, and a display area of up to 20,000 square meters. There are 7 squares, 23 single sculptures and a large composite sculpture, 8 walls of various forms, and 17 steles of various shapes.
