The UAE has expressed its desire to accelerate the steps of normalization with Israel, and Washington has talked about a tentative date for signing the agreement, while regional and global reactions have continued regarding this agreement.

The American ambassador to Israel David Friedman revealed that the signing ceremony for the agreement to normalize relations between Israel and the UAE will take place at the White House next month.

Jared Kushner, an advisor to the US President, said he believed other countries were very interested in moving forward with establishing diplomatic relations with Israel.

In a TV interview, Kushner added that he believes that normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia is inevitable, and that the two countries will then be able to do many great things together, as he put it.

For his part, US President Donald Trump said that the agreement to normalize relations between the UAE and Israel was great, and that a group of smart people in his administration worked to achieve it.

He added - in a press conference held at the White House - that other countries will join this agreement, and that there will be peace in the Middle East.

and it seems that the UAE is seeking to accelerate the steps of normalization. Where the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash said that his country wants to achieve normalization with Israel as soon as possible.

In an interview with an Israeli news site, Gargash explained that the UAE does not want a slow and gradual process, but rather that its idea is to move forward with this process.

He added that the issues of concern to the UAE are agriculture, food security, cyber defense, tourism and technology, and indicated that he is sure that the Israelis also have a list of concerns, considering that the economies of his country and Israel are the two largest economies in the region.

In other statements to CNN, he stated that his country’s normalization of its relations with Israel has led to Tel Aviv freezing the annexation of Palestinian lands in the West Bank, adding that what Abu Dhabi has done makes the two-state solution achievable.

President Hassan Rouhani said that the UAE's move to normalize relations with Israel is a condemnation and a betrayal of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause.

Rouhani added - at the meeting of the Coronavirus Committee - that his country warns the UAE against opening any room for Israel in the region, and that it must realize that the calculations and the response to any step in this direction will be different.

Rouhani expressed his hope that the UAE would back down from this step, and realize that approaching the enemies of the Islamic nation and the enemies of Iran would not guarantee its security, nor would it be in the interest of its rulers and the security of the region.

For his part, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard condemned the UAE's decision to normalize relations with Israel, describing it as a strategic folly and a stab in the body of the Islamic nation.

The Revolutionary Guard announced - in a statement - that the normalization of relations with Israel would not guarantee the interests of Tel Aviv, but rather thwart the new Middle East plan, and would threaten the future of the United States and those who support this normalization, according to the statement.

He also described the agreement as a major betrayal of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause, and aims to give legitimacy to Israel, stressing that the result of this agreement is the demise of Israel and obtaining the rights of the Palestinians.
