Saudi Arabia records 31 deaths and 1,413 new cases of "Corona"

Yesterday, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced the registration of 31 new deaths from the Coronavirus, bringing the total deaths in the Kingdom due to infection with the virus to 3,369.

And the Ministry indicated in a press statement yesterday, that 1,413 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total number of infections in the Kingdom to 297,315 cases.

The ministry pointed out that 1528 new recovery cases were recorded, bringing the total of those recovering to 264,487 people.

And in Baghdad, the Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment announced yesterday that it had recorded 76 deaths from the emerging corona virus, bringing the total virus deaths in Iraq to 5,785 cases.

In a press statement, the Ministry indicated that 4,293 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total number of infections to 172,583.

It pointed out that 2571 infected persons recovered, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 122,700. For her part, the Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai Al-Keela, announced yesterday that 498 new cases of the new Corona virus were recorded and three deaths during the past 24 hours.

She said in a press statement, that two deaths were announced yesterday morning, for a patient from the Hebron governorate and a patient from Nablus governorate, while a third death was recorded for a patient in Jabal al-Mukaber in Jerusalem.

Al-Kailah added in its statement that Jerusalem topped the new injuries, with 194 cases, followed by Hebron, with a total of 104 cases, while the rest of the injuries were distributed to different areas in the West Bank, in addition to one injury in the Gaza Strip.

In Algeria, many economic and service sectors returned yesterday to work gradually according to strict conditions, in implementation of government decisions related to easing the closure restrictions imposed by the outbreak of the Corona pandemic in the country. Mosques, which can hold 1,000 worshipers or more, have been reopened to worshipers, and beaches, parks, hotels, restaurants and cafes have been reopened to citizens after about five months of closure. The Algerian capital witnessed various arrivals in these places during the morning and evening periods. It was also noted that the police, the civil defense apparatus and volunteers were deployed to work to respect the preventive measures approved by the government, such as the compulsory wearing of a muzzle and the imposition of physical distancing to prevent the transmission of infection.

The government warned that failure to comply with preventive health measures would cause the immediate closure of the space or activity in question so that it would not be a cause of the virus outbreak again. It is noteworthy that, as of Friday, Algeria had recorded 1,351 deaths and 37,664 cases of Coronavirus, compared to 26,308 cures, according to the official data of the Ministry of Health.
