Road in front of Mälar Hospital is closed - for over three years

It is parts of the street past the county hospital in Eskilstuna that will be closed until the end of 2023. This applies to the section between the current main entrance and the nearby parking garage. A distance of about 150 meters.

- Now that we have demolished the two oldest buildings, the construction of the future Mälar Hospital is entering a new phase. This will mean a large increase in the number of transports to and from the construction area. I understand that this will affect many people's everyday lives and I hope that road users understand why the closure is necessary, says Per Heidenfors, operations manager at property services at Region Sörmland.

Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to pass the closure while motor vehicles are diverted via Strängnäsvägen and Kungsladugårdsvägen.
