“We opened our hearts to Belarusians, today we also want to open our borders for them ... We want to show ourselves and the whole of Europe that Belarus can count on Poland’s solidarity,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

As part of the "plan of solidarity", he offered to help the Belarusians, who were "kicked out of their jobs, who were beaten, wounded."

He also proposed other measures, including scholarship and research programs, assistance to independent media and the launch of a new program for non-governmental organizations, RIA Novosti reported.

“Our actions will not interfere in the internal affairs of our neighbor. We can and must lend a helping hand to Belarusians, ”Moravetsky said.

Earlier, the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry promised financial support to citizens who suffered during the protests in Belarus.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus noted that the situation with the protest actions over the past day has become the calmest over the past four days.
