Over the past three weeks, the police have searched several areas in the Karlskrona archipelago in their search for the missing man in his 55s. But so far he has not been found.

Now the police are issuing a call to the public - that everyone who was in the archipelago on Sunday 26 July hear from them.

- Can we get confirmation that someone has been at a place in the archipelago and not seen anything, these are also important observations for us when we work with the investigation, says Robert Loeffel, the police's press spokesperson.

Two men in their 20s are in custody on suspicion of probable cause for kidnapping. They deny the crime and say they have nothing to do with the disappearance.

- We are aware that a lot of people moved in the archipelago but want everyone to contact us so we can determine if the information is important for our investigation, says Robert Loeffel.
