In the fall, they will become cadets of the People’s Air Force. A reporter from the Changjiang Daily learned from the Guangzhou Selection Center of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau that a total of 71 students in Hubei this year passed the reassessment and received a letter from the Air Force Aviation University to become glorious air force pilots. After graduating from university, they will become Class 3 pilots of the Air Force and guard the blue sky of the motherland.

　　A reporter from Changjiang Daily learned that the Air Force Youth Aviation School of the First Affiliated Middle School of China Normal University was established in July 2015 and has so far trained three graduates. The selection and elimination of aviation classes are extremely cruel. When entering the school for the first time, aviation class students stand out from more than 10,000 students who have signed up, and they will be selected and eliminated every three years in high school.

　　According to the relevant person in charge of the Guangzhou Selection Center of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau, on July 23 this year, students who have been screened at various levels and at the same time have reached the first line in the college entrance examination will go to Changsha for final selection. For the selected selection, students have to pass 140 physical examinations and psychological tests on three platforms. In the end, of the 40 students in the 2017 aviation class of the First Affiliated Middle School of China Normal University, 17 of them received the coveted admission letter from the Air Force Aviation University and became Air Force cadets. It is reported that a total of 71 students in Hubei Province received air force admission notices.

In addition to learning general cultural classes, students also have to conduct military training every weekend and go to the air force to experience flying in the summer vacation of the second year.

　　The experience flight during the summer vacation of the sophomore year left many students with an unforgettable impression. Student Wang Lingyun said that when they conducted a test flight in Shandong, they first conducted theoretical study. The students gathered around the teachers and kept asking questions. Especially for the details of flight operations, through models and imagination, repeated exercises in my mind.

Facing the weightlessness caused by a sudden dive, the food in his stomach surged upwards; Facing the leap, his arms seemed too heavy to lift up, which was indeed a big test for the body.

　　Ai Mengxuan is a senior high school graduate of Wuchang Experimental Middle School in Hubei Province. He wanted to be an astronaut since he was a child. Later, he learned that astronauts are ace pilots of the Air Force and can defend their homes and nations, so he strengthened his ideals. In the last semester of high school, Ai Mengxuan successfully passed the initial and re-inspection of the Air Force recruitment.

　　Ai Mengxuan said that the Air Force recruits very strict requirements for all aspects of the body. Each item is double-checked and double-signed by doctors, and each item has many eliminations. On the first day of the re-examination, he wrote the "Dedication to National Defense Volunteer", and he couldn't help but feel a sense of mission in his heart. In addition to medical selection, there are psychological selection, written examination and simulated flight. The written test tests the examinee's psychology, personality, etc. The simulated flight is to perform arithmetic while operating the aircraft to test the examinee's coordination and concentration. After successfully passing the re-examination, he actively exercised and prepared to choose. After the college entrance examination, the elimination rate of the selected links is higher than that of the re-examination, which puts forward higher requirements for the candidates' physical coordination, physical fitness, responsiveness, and memory. On July 22, Ai Mengxuan passed with excellent results, and received an A rating in the expert consultation interview, and successfully became an Air Force student pilot.
