Abdullah bin Zayed discusses with the foreign ministers of Chile and Djibouti the developments of Corona
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, discussed, during a phone call with the new Chilean Minister of Foreign Affairs Andres Almand Zavala, the friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during the call, congratulated Andres Alland Zavala, wishing him success in his new position.
His Highness and the Chilean Minister of Foreign Affairs reviewed the developments of the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) and the efforts of the two countries to contain its repercussions and the existing joint cooperation and coordination between them in this regard. The two sides stressed the need to strengthen international cooperation to overcome the repercussions and effects of the pandemic, as well as the importance of supporting global efforts to reach a vaccine for the disease.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Chile, and the continuous development in areas of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries.
For his part, Andres Alland Zavala expressed his country's aspiration to enhance the prospects of joint cooperation with the UAE in all fields, praising the support provided by the state to Chile to help it contain the repercussions of the disease.
On the other hand, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed, during a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Djibouti Mahmoud Ali Youssef, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation in all fields. The two sides reviewed, during the phone call, the latest developments in the region and a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
